Mr. Haddock was born Feb. 10, 1936 in Lubbock to John William and Lou Haddock. He grew up in Lubbock and attended Lubbock schools. He worked as an auto mechanic for Ford Motor Co. in Lubbock and Tulia. He moved to Tulia in 1971. He also owned and operated Glynn's Radio & TV repair shop in Tulia for several years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Ruth Thompson, and one brother, Jerry Doyle "Pete' Haddock.
His family includes three daughters, Linda Lard of Farmington, NM, Teressa Tynes of Lufkin and Sherry Johnson of Savannah, Ga.; two sons, Randy Haddock of Aztec, NM and Tim Haddock of Amarillo; two sisters, Vera Fair of Midland and Loretta Hill of Lubbock, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
