Alonzo Theodore Larsen, 40, Mt. Pleasant city marshal, was shot and killed Monday in from Colstrom and Sparks tavern on Main Street, by an assailant he had just ejected from the establishment for disorderly conduct.

Alonzo Theadore Larsen, 40, was born July 23, 1905, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of Andrew and Christine Mateson Larsen.

He graduated from North Sanpete high school and had worked for a time at Wendover, Utah, and for Geneva Steel plant, Provo.

He married Helen Jones in September, 1929, in Mt. Pleasant.

Survivors include his widow and mother, both of Mt. Pleasant; four brothers, J. Farrel Larsen, Mt. Pleasant; Jay Raphael Larsen and James Berkeley Larsen, both of Shelley, Ida.; two sisters, Mrs. Ina I. Jones, Wendover, and Mrs. Blanche L. Roylance, Gunnison.
