Kimberly Demeris James,22, died on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born March 17, 1992 in Monroe County to Tommy Key and Rhonda Parish Key. She attended Hatley School. She married Curt James on June 14, 2014. Kim was known for her love for life always smiling with a very distinctive laugh. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, and wife. Kim made hair bows and scarves with a special touch. She enjoyed swimming, fishing, music and she was a natural horsewoman. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her son. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today, February 19, 2015, at Cleveland-Moffett Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Smith, Bro. Danny Carl Burks and Bro. Kevin Crook officiating. Burial will be in the Hatley Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband Curt James of Hatley; Her father, Tommy Key (Connie) of Mountainburg, Arkansas; her mother, Rhonda Key of Hatley; one son, Jayden Ray Forrester of the home; one stepdaughter Rylee James Of Houston, MS; one sister, Aimee Nichole Key of Hatley; stepsisters, Cindi White of Louisiana; Amanda Oliver of Louisiana; Shannon Phillips of Fayetteville, Arkansas; stepbrothers, B.J. Oliver stationed in Hawaii; Garth Webster of Louisiana. Uncles, Jerry Key (Samantha) of Baldwin; Billy Owens (Jessica) of Amory; John David Powell Jr. of Starkville and Jack Powell stationed overseas in Qatar. Aunts, Lachelle Bryan(Robert) of Hamilton; Masha Key of Amory; Tina Kaye Cupito of Austin,Texas; Tonya Lovelady(Jamie) of Smithville. Grandparents, Jonell and David Powell of Sallis; Rodney and Shirley Parish of Hatley; Great Grandmother Nellie Parish of Hatley and 20 first cousins.
She was preceded in death by a baby daughter Alexis Mackenzie Forrester; Great Grandfather Joe Clinton Barnes and Nellie Fay Holloway Barnes; Great grandfather James N. Parish.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Lovelady, Gabe lovelady, Colby Burks, Nicholas Parish, Nick Williams and Austin James.
Honorary parents are Tonya and Jamie Lovelady; Special Aunts are Tina Kaye Cupito and Lachelle Bryan.
Visitation will continue until service time.
