Carl W. Lentz, 87, of Loveland, died Tuesday, Nov. 24, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland.
He was born June 5, 1905, in Timnath to Conrad and Amelia (Snyder) Lentz.
On Aug. 27, 1927, he married Susan Minch in Loveland.
He moved with his parents at an early age to Pasco, Wash., returning to Colorado at age 20. He worked for the railroad for five years and then for about 45 years was in retail sales in appliance stores. The Lentzes lived in Greeley from 1960 to 1970.
He was a member of Zion American Lutheran Church in Loveland.
He is survived by his wife; Susan Lentz of Loveland; three sons, Vern Lentz of Greeley, Bruce Lentz of Northglenn and Gary Lentz of Phoenix, Ariz., five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law. His sister Bertha is deceased.
Services are at 11 a.m. Monday at Zion American Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Loveland Burial Park.
Friends may visit at Kibbey Fishburn Funeral Chapel from 3-5 p.m. Sunday.
