Catlettsburg; John Andrew Crank 74, of 2712 Lock Avenue, Catlettsburg, died suddenly at 8:15 o'clock this morning while walking along Broadway near the Catlettsburg Water Company Office. Mr. Crank was a native of Kentucky, a son of the late John and Matilda Mullins Crank. He had been a resident of Catlettsburg for the past five years, coming here from Lawrence County Kentucky.He formerly followed the occupation of farming and for the past few months had been temporarily employed at the Catlettsburg Post Office. Surviving are four sons, Sullivan Crank of Bradford Ohio, Fred, Albert, and Hubert Crank all of Catlettsburg, three daughers,Mrs John Price of Buchanan Chapel., Mrs. Jack Spence of Catlettsburg., Miss Chloa Belle Crank, at home, and two sisters, Mrs. Ann Pool of Catlettsburg, and Mrs. Flora Chaffins of Portsmouth Ohio. The body is at the Kilgore-Collier Funeral Home and will be removed to the residence on Lock Avenue this evening. At noon Saturday it will be taken to Buchanan where funeral services will be conducted in the Buchanan Chapel at Zelda, Ky., at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Ira Copley officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Cemetery!
