WATERTOWN — Mr. James R. Cary, 65, of Watertown, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was the loving husband of Sandy (Watts) Cary.

Jim was born in Reedley, Calif. on Feb. 13, 1950, son of the late James E. and Barbara (Hess) Cary. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, earning a degree in business administration.

He and his wife Sandy moved from California to Pennsylvania in 1995, settling to Watertown in 1996. He did some consulting work on his own and he and Sandy purchased the Acorn Wine & Spirits in Oakville a year and a half ago so that he could pursue his great passion for wine.
