M. Mavis Price Disbrow, 64, of Oakville, Missouri, died on February 9, 2015. She was born in Summersville, Missouri on September 16, 1950. Daughter of Charles A. Price and W. Laverne (Alcorn) Price. She married Dennis L. Disbrow on July 12, 1969. Mavis's first love was for her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She also enjoyed antiquing, reading, gardening, and boating, fishing, and camping at Truman Lake. She loved to spend time with her family, especially her granddaughters, and her dog Baby. Mavis was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her husband Dennis L. Disbrow; daughters, Kimberly (Eric) Hammerstone and Elizabeth (James) Walega; granddaughters, Madeline, Audrey, Faith and Ava; sisters, twin Marie (Terry) Newcom, and Beverly (Ronald) Matthews. Services: Burial will be on Friday, February 20th at 2:15 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, February 21st at 11:30 a.m. at Hope Vineyard Church, 2923 Telegraph Road, St. Louis, Missouri.
