Eliakim4 Anderson, son of Cornelius3, b. abt. 1690-92; d. Aug. or Sep., 1758, at Warwick tp. (Doylestown), Pa.; md. abt.1710-13 to Elizabeth , who survived him. At Hopewell he was taxed in 1722, as Ely Allbado, on 200 acres and 10 farm animals. In 1723/4 he was Overseer of Highways, and in 1724/5 Constable. In 1733 he mortgaged his 220-acre farm in Hopewell, fronting on Delaware River and in 1735 joined the Presby. Church there. As late as 1751 he wit. a will, and appraised an inventory in Hopewell, but between that year and the time of his death he moved across the Delaware River and up to Doylestown, Pa.

His will, Aug. 15, 1758 - Sep. 9, 1758, names wife, Brother Abraham, and 11 children. (SnHS:l85; HoTR:ll; HuM A:34; Hopewell Pres. Church. rec., D.A.R. copy; NJA 32:227; Bucks Co. Wills 2:339.) There is no mention of the wife of Eliakim, except in his will, and it is possible that Elizabeth was a second wife, and not mother of all of his children. The two oldest children were baptized at Hopewell by the pastor of First Pres. Church, Philadelphia (Church. rec.)
