Paul Epperson, 65, Baxter, died July 6, 2002 at Holston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tenn.
A lifelong resident of Harlan County, Epperson was preceded in death by his wife, Daisy Kirk Epperson, and his parents, John and Ruth Waldon Epperson and a brother, George Epperson.
Survivors include six children; John Epperson, Rio Vista; Paul Epperson and wife, Melissa, Dayhoit; Roger Epperson and wife, Linda, Baxter; Charles Epperson and wife Donna, Loyall; Debbie Fee, Gate City, VA; Donna Bailey and husband, Terry, Morresburg, Tenn.; eight brothers, Clarence Epperson, Baxter; Virgil Epperson, King George, Va.; James Epperson, Wallins, Johnny Epperson, Cleveland, Tenn.; Oscar Epperson, Bledsoe; William Epperson, Loyall; Richard Epperson, London and Freddie Epperson, Cleveland, Tenn; two sisters, Lois Howard, Knoxville, Tenn.; Mary Rodriguez, El Paso, Texas; 5 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rich Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. John D. Lambert and the Rev. Paul White officiating.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
