Alba Paris (Bassani) Ginnetti, affectionately known as "Nana", died at home on June 11, 2001. She was born October 1, 1906 to Carlo Alessandro and Maria (Benigni) Paris. She was the wife of the late Benedetto Ginnetti who died in June of 1985, and her first husband Charles Bassani who died in September of 1955. She married Mr. Ginnetti on June 30, 1960. She married her first husband in Europe on February 15, 1930. Devoted mother of JoAnn (Bassani) Nostrand, (son-in-law Charles, Jr.) and Bea (Bassani) Orsino (and son-in-law Rocco) and grandmother of Dawn Finn (and her husband Steven), Charles Nostrand III (and wife Kathy), Tricia Nostrand Gonzalez (and husband Wilfredo), Robert J. Orsino (and wife Nancy) and James E. Orsino (and wife Lesla) and cherished great-grandmother of Ryan Finn, Amanda and Molly Nostrand and Robbie and Meghan Orsino. Two brothers Silvo and Pierre and three sisters Lisetta, Irene and Olma, who reside in Europe survive her. A brother Alessandro and a sister Teresa Bosio predeceased her. Mrs. Ginnetti was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Church in Sleepy Hollow.
