Lewis married Dorothy Doshier November 6, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He enjoyed watching Westerns on TV. Lewis also enjoyed watching NASCAR, and football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and the OU Sooners. He also enjoyed fishing and woodworking. Lewis loved coaching his son in baseball and taking care of the baseball field. He also enjoyed bowling and he bowled in several leagues. Lewis heard his country's call and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict where he received an honorable discharge for services rendered to his country when called upon to do so. Lewis was founder, owner and operator of Professional Television Analyst. He retired in 1996 after over 40 years of service. His first love was spending time with his family. He would tell you that he was alive because his wife, Dorothy dedicated her life taking care of him.
Lewis is survived by his wife of 54 years, Dorothy, of the home; 2 daughters, Joy Jordan, of Moore, and Jane Roby, of Norman; 1 son, Michael Jordan & wife, Karen, of Richlandtown, Pennsylvania; 1 brother, John Jordan, of Okemah; 1 sister, Nancy Calhoun, of Rockdale, Texas; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; and 1 daughter, Sue. The Jordan Family wished to thank Crossroads Hospice for the love and care they showed Lewis and the family the last 3 years of his life.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 24, 2015, in the Chapel of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK. Interment to follow at Smith Cemetery, Moore, OK.
