Lenora L. Welch,86, died Tuesday, Sept. 17, 1996, in her home after an extended illness. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Goettsch Funeral Home, Monticello, where friends may call after 4 p.m. today. Burial: Oakwood Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Manville; a son, Irie of Monticello; a daughter, Evalena (Robert) Lang of Hopkinton; three grandchildren: John Lang of Hopkinton, Teresa Lafrenz of Bettendorf and Daniel Lang of Iowa City; three great-granddaughters: Heather, Brandi and Nikole; two sisters, Hazel James of Texas and Marjory Smith of Canyon City, Colo.; and two sisters-in-law, Alice Cherry of Minco, Okla., and Ethyl Scouten of Oklahoma City.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
