Michael F. Slein, age 78, of Milwaukee, formerly of Janesville, died May 21, 2006, at his home. He was born in Janesville on September 26, 1927, the son of Patrick and Mary (McCue) Slein. He graduated from St. Patrick’s grade school, Janesville, and later from St. Francis Seminary, Milwaukee. Mike served the Diocese of Madison for 13 years before becoming a counselor at the Cook County Hospital, Chicago. He had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed music and movies.
