Mrs. Melba Christine White, age 90 originally from the Flat Creek Community passed away Feb.19, 2015. She was born in Williamson County.
She and her late husband worked side by side in several ventures, such as farming, the grocery and an automotive business. One of the charter members of Allisona Church of Christ, she later worshiped with the Thompsons Station Church of Christ. After moving to Florida, she was with Gulf Breeze Church of Christ.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by husband, Willie Buford “Duck” White. She is survived by sons James “Monk” (Ann) White and Jack (Margaret Ann) White; grandchildren, Laurie (Charlie) Meek, Glenda (Tim) Sandrell, Patricia (Troy) Williams and Melissa White; great grandchildren, Chuck and Abby Meek, Cassie and Brandy Merrifield, Brandon (Monica) Sandrell, T.J. Sandrell, Allison (Philip) Terhune, Dustin Sandrell, Ryan (Melissa) Burton and Justin Williams and seven great great grandchildren.
Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Charlie and Chuck Meek, Tim, Brandon, T.J. and Dustin Sandrell, Philip Terhune and Troy Williams.
