Funeral services for Jewel Mae Coln Walker are set for 3 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church with burial in Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Walker died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was born November 19, 1934 in Alcorn Co. to the late Hubert and Hazel Coln. She was a member of Mt Pleasant Methodist Church, was a bookkeeper at several motels in Memphis, Tenn. before becoming a homemaker
She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris “Mot” Walker; daughter, Ramona Thompson; and son James Douglas Walker.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (James) Repult of Southaven; son, Morris Walker of Corinth; grandchildren, Carey Bowen, Mandy Bowen, Jason Thompson, Becky Liles and Nick Walker; and
five great-grandchildren.
