Kenneth W. Taylor, 63, of East Alton & formerly of the Mulberry Grove area, died Sunday, 19Sep1976, at Wood River Twp. Hospital.
He was employed at the Illinois Power Company power house in East Alton for 25 years.
He was married to Edna Blackard on 24Jan1959 in Vandalia. She survives.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Mulberry Grove & the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Vandalia & the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.
He is survived by his wife; a stepson Dwayne W. Cargill of El Toro, CA; 3 stepdaughters, Mrs. Carolyn David of Chicago; Mrs. Martha Fieben of Mount Sterling; & Mrs. Roberta Driggs of Lolita, CA; 2 sisters, Mrs. Roxie Daugherty of Mulberry Grove & Mrs. Elva Reising of Indianapolis; a brother, Edgar Taylor of Springfield, MO & 9 step-grandchildren.
The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ripperdan Funeral Home in Mulberry Grove. Interment was in McInturff Cemetery.
Masonic services were held Tuesday evening.
