MANSON. Dorothy Abbie Manson, 70, of 2-A Graham Road, East Windsor, wife of Richard Manson, died Monday (June 11) at Connecticut Hospice. Born in Avon, she lived over 40 years in East Windsor. Dorothy had worked in the East Windsor Elementary School Cafeteria, also at Iona Manufacturing, Manchester, and most recently at Form Wire, East Windsor. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Milton L. Abbie of East Windsor, Roy N. Abbie of South Windsor; a stepson, Fred Abbe of Rockville; a brother, Edward Fuller of Tolland; a sister, Hazel Hunter of Goshen, N.H.; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Milton Abbie. Funeral service will be Thursday, 10 a.m., at the J.M. Bassinger Funeral Home, 37 Gardner St., East Windsor. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Visiting hours are today, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to North Central Hospice, 25 Park St. Vernon 06066.
