He was preceded in death by his wife Irene Moczygemba Lyssy, his parents and five brothers Chester, Anton, Leonard, Fabian and Louis Lyssy.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons Fred (Catherine) of Lakewood, CO, Walter (Kathleen) of San Antonio and one daughter Lillian (Oscar) Moreno of McAllen; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Elenora Young of Harlingen and Sylvia Skloss of McCook; and one brother, Frank (Maria) Lyssy of Donna.
