Fannie Mildred Cephas was born in North Carolina on November 28, 1938 to the late Blannie and John Freeman. She departed this life on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at the Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge, Maryland. She was 75.
She was a member at the Greater Mount Zion Pentecostal Holiness Church. She loved going to church and praising the Lord. She was a faith member until her health failed.
Mildred was preceded in death by her mother and father, Blannie and John Edward Freeman, and her oldest son Albert Carter, Jr. She leaves to cherish her memories her children, John Carter, Denise Sampson, Ernest Carter, Cynthia Carter and Timothy Carter (Laura), a daughter-in-law, Linda Pinkett, all of Hurlock, MD, nine grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, other relatives, friends and her Greater Mount Zion family.
