Mrs. Clara "Mama Kate" Anderson a resident of Prattville, AL Answered the call on Sunday January 4, 2015. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Lily Hill Baptist Church, Prattville, AL with Rev. Mitchell Brown officiating. burial to follow in Chapman Cemetery, Prattville, AL.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2015 from 11;00 a.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home, Prattville, AL.

The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral services.

Sister Clara Kate Wiilliams Anderson was born June 17, 1939 in Autauga County, Alabama to the late John Wesley Williams and Gertrude E. Williams. She was fostered, loved and cherished by her aunt and uncles, the late Mr. Willie and Clara Myers.

Clara aceepted Christ as her Lord and Personal Savior at an early age as she joined the New Jericho Missionary Baptist CHurch. as a faithful and productive member, she served as a Sunday School teacher, as well as a choir member, and usher, and a member of the Mission. She also served over the Baptismal preparation and was a member of the Mother's Board where she served faithfully until God called her to eternal rest.

Clara was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Hazel Anderson on June 16, 1962. In Their 52 years of marriage, four children were born: Ursla, Kevin, Gary and Malania.

Clara worked for Wal-Mart for 15 years, her bright , warm and friendly smile welcomed you to Wal-Mart. She enjoyed talking, listening, sharing, encouraging, and motivating her family and friends as they walked through the door. but mot of all, she loved and cared for all of her co-workers, who lovingly called her Mama Clara.

Clara made her final journey Sunday on Sunday January 4, 2015. Preceding her in death were: One Daughter: Ursla; One Son: Gary; Two Sisters: Rosemary and edith and One Brother: Michael.

Clara leaves to cherish he precious memories: a loving and devoted Husband: Hazell Anderson; Children: Kevin Anderson and Malania (Jeffery) Colvin; Five Daughters of Love: Mary (Lewis) Williams, Emma (Adam) Haigler, Sharlene (Calvin) Wright, Michelle (Arthur) Trimble, and Julia Palmer. One Sister: Harriet Pullom; Brothers and Sisters: Otis, Betty, Walter, Mattie, Dorothy, William, Robert, Davis and Jessie: One Step- Sisters: Callie Williams: One Step-Brother: ALfred Davis; Ten Grandchildren: Jahrod, Garrett, Malik, ALex, ALexis, LaCorey, Akiria, JaMarcus, Marcus, and Marcuez; Two AUnts: Frankie Hall and Louise Turner; Nine Sisters-in-laws, Seven Brother-in-laws and also a special niece: Melody Mitchell as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
