Funeral for Margie L. Horton, 79, Lawton will be at 9:30 AM Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenn Lane, pastor of Olivet Baptist Church officiating.

Mrs. Horton died Wednesday, February 18, 2015 in Lawton.

Burial will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

She was born September 12, 1935 in Snyder, Oklahoma. She married Carroll E. Horton on January 17, 1954. He died in 2013.

Margie loved her family. She was a devoted daughter, wife and mother. She was a faithful friend and never met a stranger. Margie loved the Lord and her church family at Olivet Baptist Church. She was ready to be reunited with her parents, husband and most of all Jesus. She will be greatly missed.

Survivors include a son, Curtis Horton, Hominy, Oklahoma, daughter, Carolyn Hinckle and her husband David, Midwest City, Oklahoma, three grandchildren, Daniel Horton, Lawton, Christie Weir, Denton, Texas and Marcie Weir, Midwest City, Oklahoma, a great granddaughter, Madison Chloe Horn, Lawton, a brother, George Thompson and his wife Lorenza, Lawton and two nieces and their spouses, Brenda and Dan Riley, Lawton and Lindy and Tom McDonald, Chattanooga.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents, Garland and Juanita Knight.
