DEL NORTE— Keith (Buddy) Abeyta, 20, of Del Norte passed away on Wednesday Feb. 18, 2015.
He was born in Alamosa on April 14, 1994 to Keith Abeyta Sr. and Sandy Atencio.
Buddy enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, camping, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, hauling wood, driving his truck and spending time with his family, especially his Grandma.
Buddy is survived by his father Keith (Evonne) Abeyta of Del Norte, mother Sandy (Anthony) Casias of Del Norte; grandparents Manuel (Linda) Atencio and Delma (Abeyta); sisters Emily Abeyta of Del Norte, Amanda (Vic) Martinez of Del Norte, Sami Abeyta of Del Norte, girlfriend Kiahna Pacheco of Del Norte and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Buddy was preceded in death by his grandfather Sammy Abeyta and nephews David and Matthew.
A Rosary for Buddy will be held on Friday, Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in Del Norte at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. also at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Del Norte Cemetery.
All memorial contributions can be made to the Abeyta/Casias families in care of Strohmayer’s Funeral Home.
