Matt worked in tree service, and he enjoyed spending time with his children and family and riding four-wheelers and dirt bikes.
Survivors include his fiancée, Lisa Johnson of Springfield; five children, Kaylee Lewis of Springfield, Chance Zinn of West Virginia, Savannah Lewis, Alyssa Lewis, and Levi Lewis, all of Springfield; his mother, Karen Reiter of Massachusetts; grandmother, Mavis Lewis of S. Vienna; sisters, Natasha (George) Rager and Heidi Timmons, Springfield; aunts and uncle, Denise and Donnie Carpenter and Dianna Wirgau; good friends, Billy Reffet and Logan Potter; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Arrangements will be held at 11:00am Monday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Friends may visit with the family for one hour prior to the services.
Burial will follow in Vernon Asbury Cemetery.
