James Scoggins passed away with his loved ones by his side. He was a family man and very kind hearted. He is survived by his mother Jimmie Scoggins, his sister and brother's Londa, Dwight, Clinton and David Scoggins, He also leaves behind his three children, James Jr., Opal and William Scoggins, daughter-in-law, Samantha Scoggins also two grandchildren Conner and Karsyn Scoggins, many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceeded in death by father, Lee Scoggins and brother Delbert Scoggins.
They say memories are golden, I suppose that could be true. Right now we don't want memories, all we want is you. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one else will fill.
Visitation will be held at Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home in Merced at 10:00 a.m. on Friday February 27, 2015. A graveside service will follow at Winton District Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Services are under the direction of Ivers and Alcorn Funeral Home.
