Janet Diane Dye, 37, of the
Mill Creek section of Raven,
died July 18 in a Richlands
hospital.
Born in Tazewell County, she
was the daughter of the late
Graham and Eunice Graybeal
Hess.
She was formerly employed as
a nurse at Columbia Clinch
Valley Medical Center in
Richlands.
In addition to her parents, she
was preceded in death by two
brothers, Billie Hess and
Randal Hess; and grandparents,
Elbert and Margaret Hess
and Quicy and Jennie
Graybeal.
Survivors: husband, Steve L.
Dye; son, Joshua Stephen Dye;
sisters, Betty Ball of Newport
News, Margaret Sue White of
Raven; brothers, Charles Hess
Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Joe Hess
and Glen Hess, both of Raven;
father-in-law and mother-inlaw,
Russell and Ruby Dye;
and brother-in-law, Rick Dye of
Swords Creek.
The funeral was conducted
July 21 at 2 p.m. at the
Singleton Funeral Chapel in
Cedar Bluff with Rev. Edward
Tiller officiating.
Burial followed in Greenhills
Memory Gardens at Claypool
Hill.
