Son and second child of William Robertson & Mary High who married 26 Dec 1815 in North Carolina (possibly Bladen or Columbus Co). The family was still in North Carolina in Feb 1820 per court records. Records indicate they immigrated to Jefferson County, Indiana in 1822 and finally to Ripley County, Indiana in 1832.
