She was single and living at home until her marriage to John G. Thompson in 1880. John G. Thompson was first married to Fidelia Adeline Rhodes, who died in 1877, leaving him with six young children.
The couple was listed on the 1900 census in the Cooper's Gap area of Polk County. They are not found on the 1910 census.
Their grave sites are not known. Some of the children of John G. Thompson have grave sites at Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. It is possible that their grave sites are at unmarked field stones at Silver Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
