Glenda Diane Bowman-Peck died at age 67 in Lenoir, N.C. on November 14, 2009 at 4:15 a.m. She died prematurely at the hands of her husband, Herbert Lawrence Peck. Glenda was born December 12, 1942 in Caldwell County to Mary Mazeleen Bowman and Glen Burley Bowman. Her accomplishments in life include owning and operating multiple successful businesses across the United States. These businesses were focused in Travel and Leisure. Her passions in life were her Faith, Travel, and Family. Glenda is survived by: daughter Susan Diane Hardin, son James Scott Hardin, and beloved granddaughter Ella Sue Hardin. Glenda was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Burley Bowman. Glenda is survived by her mother, Mary Mazeleen Bowman, brother, Glenn Burley Bowman, Jr., sisters, Patricia Walker, Pamela Gutknecht, Kimberly McLeod, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and her precious dog ""Spike."" Services for Glenda Diane Bowman-Peck are scheduled for December 12, 2009 11 a.m. at Pendry's Funeral Home in Lenoir, North Carolina.
