LAOTTO- LINDA KAY LUTTER, 48, of rural LaOtto, died Friday April 1, 2005 at 4:15 am at the family residence in Swan Township. She had been in declining health for some time and had been seriously ill for the past year.
Always active as a farm wife, she assisted her husband in operating the family farm in Swan Township and also owned and operated the Farmer's Corner Restaurant in LaOtto from 1981 to 1993.
Mrs Lutter was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in LaOtto, was a past president of the LaOtto Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and co-authored two cookbooks with her mother.
She was born May 19, 1956 in Garrett to Dale E and Betty (Strong) Adams. She spent her formative years on the family farm east of LaOtto and graduated from Garrett High School in 1974.
On June 7, 1974 she married Randy J Lutter in LaOtto. The couple spent their entire married lives in the same home northwest of LaOtto.
Surviving are her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law all of LaOtto; her mother of LaOtto; a brother and sister-in-law of LaOtto; a grandson; and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dale E Adams on July 18, 1994.
Services will be Monday at 10 am in Emmanuel Lutheran Church of LaOtto with Pastor Sue Socha officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery north of LaOtto. Calling will be Sunday from 2 to 8 pm at Sheets & Childs Funeral Home in Churubusco and Monday from 9 to 10 am at the church.
