Audrey was born on July 26, 1942 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Morgan and Hattie Wells. She was married to Freddie Lee Ballard. To this union, one daughter was born L'Tanya Wells Ballard-Banks. Audrey attended Walter B. Cohen Senior High School, Straight Business School, YMCA Business School and Southern University at New Orleans. She was employed by Jefferson Parish School Board as an Administrative Assistant.
Audrey leaves to cherish her memory one daughter L'Tanya Ballard Banks, one sister Joyce Wells West, one granddaughter A'Mon TJe Ballard, two grandsons Kaleb M. Banks and Ashid M. Banks. One nephew Robert Lee West III, two great nephews Robert Lee West IV and Rashid West. One niece in-law Malinda West, two great nieces Rolieria Mare and Roshika Nicole West. Adore friend Brenda W Johnson and a host of other relatives and friends.
