WEBB, Louis Pendleton, Sr. - Age 77, of Fenton, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Brian's House. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, February 11, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Rev. Ronald Nuckles officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday from 5-9 PM and Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mr. Webb was born September 9, 1932 in Frankfort, KY, the son of George W. and Fannie Lee (Curry) Webb. He married Helen Louise Mohr July 14, 1956 in Frankfort, KY. He had resided in the Fenton area for the past 42 years coming from Kentucky. Mr. Webb retired in 1992 from G.M. Power Train Flint V-8 Engine Plant after 32 years of service. Surviving are: wife, Helen; 6 children, Bonnie Webb of Fenton, Constance and husband David Stockemer of California, Louis, Jr. and wife Ruth Webb of Fenton, Fannie Lee and husband Terry Johnson of Argentine, Mary Edwina Webb of Mt. Morris and John Luke and wife Kimberly Webb of Durand; 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, Herbert "Hub", Morris, John, Billy and George Webb; 3 sisters, Ruby Wade, Carol Flynn and Joan Wilhoit; nephew, John, Jr.
