Gary Brian Milligan, 74, passed away Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015. Funeral: 3 p.m. Saturday in Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Gary was born Sept. 28, 1940, in Rochester, N.Y., to William Donald Milligan and Helen Christine Bareis Milligan. He moved with his family to Fort Worth in 1951 when his father took employment with General Dynamics. He grew up in west Fort Worth and graduated from Trimble Tech High School. Gary married Roseanna Lopez on Feb. 8, 1971. In 1975, they had their one and only child, a son, Brian Matthew Milligan. Gary retired from Lockheed Martin in 2005 after working more than 25 years. He was interested in cars and mechanics in high school and this remained his hobby for the rest of his life. He had several antique cars in which he took much pride. Gary and Roseanna enjoyed traveling to "rod runs" and swap meets. They entered car shows and won several trophies. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 41 years. Survivors: Son, Brian Matthew Milligan; sisters, Beverly Branson and husband, Darrell, Kathleen "Kathe" Milligan-Martin and husband, Gayle; nieces, Christine Mercier and husband, Paul, Vicky Johnson and husband, Audie; nephew, Darrell William Branson and wife, Shelli; and a host of other family, friends and Rod Show Club friends.
