Lydia LaFoy Clark, 101, wife of the late William Garvin Clark, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Springwood Care Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Born in Pickens County, SC, she was the daughter of the late James and Laura Medlin LaFoy. Lydia lived in the Ebenezer Community and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church for 51 years. After the death of her husband of 61 years in March of 1992, she moved to Winston-Salem, NC where she became a member of Becks Baptist Church.

Surviving are a granddaughter, Teri Williams and a grandson, Ronald (Debbie) Clark; great-grandchildren: Ronnie, Jesse and Janie Clark and a daughter-in-law: Martha Clark all of Winston-Salem, NC.

Along with her parents and husband, Lydia was predeceased by a son: Doyle Clark; sisters: Bessie Hayes, Essie Hindricks, Olive Hayes, Gladys Brezeale and a brother, Dee LaFoy.

The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10 until 10:50 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary.

Funeral service will be Friday morning at 11 a.m. at The Howze Mortuary Chapel.

Private burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park (Obituary published in the online obituaries of Howze Mortuary, 29690, 2/18/15)
