The Obituary
JACQUELYN ELIZABETH LAMBERT born April 13, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Edward Lambert and survived by her mother, Elizabeth Lambert.
Jacquelyn departed this life on Monday, May 8, 2006. Jackie was loved by many and will be missed by all.
Jacquelyn, also known as "Jackie," was educated in the Philadelphia public school system, graduating from West Philadelphia High School. She studied very hard in her academics. After finishing high school, she went on to work. She secured a job to support her family.
She was employed with very popular clothing factory, having been employed with this company for an extended period of time until she became ill. Jackie remained in good spirit, despite any elements that consumed her. Her strong conviction made her able to deal with tough situations and problems. She handled with courage and strength a dedicated mother to her children, and also had a beautiful smile. Jackie resided at Simpson House for approximately ten years, where she was extremely loved by the staff and other residents. She was a quiet person, but you always seen her smile and felt her presence. Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, will always be in our hearts. We have learned to accept that God only takes the best. "God" doesn't make mistakes, He came to take our angel home.
She leaves to cherish her memory: mother, Elizabeth Lambert; six grandchildren, Drexel, Jr., Aaiyah, Kyron, Ronald, Jr., Tyrell and Rashaneka; two sons, Drexel, Sr. and Ronald Lambert; one brother, Douglas Lambert; one sister, Beatrice Lambert; two step-sisters, four step-brother, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Sorrowfully submitted,
