CLEARFIELD PROGRESS MARCH 18, 1994

Norman Lumadue TONAWANDA, N.Y. Funeral services for Norman "Son" Lumadue, 63, of 65 Curwood Court, Tonawanda, N.Y., and formerly of West Decatur, who died Wednesday, March 16, 1994, at his residence, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc. of Clearfield. The Rev. Philip J. Cochrane will officiate. Interment will be in Stoneville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until the hour of services on Tuesday. Born April 25, 1930, in Clearfield, he was the son of Elmer B. Sr. and Anna (Sandstrom) Lumadue. He was retired from the Grove Roofing Co. in Buffalo, N.Y., and was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church, Kenmore, N.Y. Surviving are his wife, Dawn Sue (Hutton) Lumadue, whom he married on June 28, 1980; six children, Sherrie Sheddy of Pennsylvania, Rena Jefferson, Georgia Stone and Melisa Lumadue, all of Texas, Paul Lumadue of Virginia, and Sam Lumadue of Michigan; two stepchildren, Valerie Christ and Edward Kees, both of New York; nine grandchildren; and three great- grandchildren. Two sisters, Dora Lumadue of California and Maxine Shugarts of Clearfield, also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, John Lumadue, Robert Lumadue and Elmer Lumadue Jr.; and three sisters, Grace Husted, Marjorie Lumadue and Amy Lumadue.
