In the early morning hours of February 16, 2015, God called home his servant, Julia Greene.

Funeral services will be at Noon on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home, in Harker Heights. Officiating will be Pastor Cynthia Moss. Interment will follow at Killeen Memorial Park, on Lake Rd. A visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5-7PM at the Funeral Home.

Julia is survived by her husband of 55 years, LTC (Ret) William E. Greene, of Killeen, TX; her son, William D. Greene of Mansfield, TX; granddaughter, Maddison; and sister, Annette Kleinmann of Isaquah, Washington.

She was a dedicated educator for over 30 years, teaching and influencing elementary students in various schools during her career. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and continued to be active in the First United Methodist Church of Killeen as a member and Sunday School teacher up until her passing.

Julia gave herself continually throughout her life, caring for and teaching others without thought of the sacrifice to herself. She was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother, and will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Rest well and be at peace Julia. You have earned it.
