Jake Wilson Allen of Greensburg passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on February 17, 2015 with his family by his side.

He was a life long resident of St. Helena Parish. He worked as an electrician and for Steven’s Candy Company for many years. He had 3 passions in his life: running deer dogs, LSU football and baseball. For many years, he was a referee at local high school football games. He graduated from Greensburg High School in Greensburg.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.T. and Mamie Allen and his sister, Lanelle.

He is survived by his daughters, Heather and husband, Mike Nicholas, of Kentwood, Georgiana and husband, T. L. Kennedy, II, of Kentwood, Spring and husband, Jeremy Stewart, of Summit, MS and Serena Dubois of Jayess, MS. Also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Dalton Kennedy, Nickolas Stewart, Bradley Stewart, Raleigh Kennedy and Brook Stewart; sister, Sybil and husband, Cleve Tidwell, of Greensburg; brothers, Charles Allen and wife, Susan, of Pitkin, LA, Davis Allen of Bay St. Louis, MS and Joe Allen and wife, Annie, of Magnolia, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and family members.

Visitation at Pine Ridge United Methodist Church from 10 AM until religious services at 1 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Services conducted by Rev. Gibbie McMillan. Interment Pine Ridge Cemetery, Pine Ridge. Pallbearers are Mikey, T.L., Jeremy, Paula, Nickolas, Dalton, Chad, Kyle, Jason and Royce.
