Glendra Altman Sledge, 76, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2013. Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 57 years, James M. Sledge; son, Matt Sledge (Vickie); daughters, Deborah S. Robbins (Joseph) and Susie S. Webb (Shawn); 4 granddaughters; 1 grandson; 1 brother, Butch Altman (Brenda); along with numerous nieces and nephews. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Oakdale Baptist Church, Honduras Mission Trip, 13037 US 64 Alt. West, Rocky Mount, NC 27801. Visitation with the family will be from 12:30-2:00 pm on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm with Dr. Harry Fowler and Rev.
