Keith Patrick Burns, 65, of Hagerstown, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009, at Washington County Hospital.
Born Dec. 26, 1943, in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late William Alexander Burns and Lillian Virginia Grisbley Burns.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Bell Burns, in 1989.
He was a former employee of The Herald-Mail.
He is survived by four stepdaughters, Leta A. Spencer, Mary E. Spencer, Betty J. Rodney and Vicky J. Williams, all of Hagerstown; three stepsons, Charles D. Green Jr., Earl T. Green and Donald R. Green, all of Hagerstown; three sisters, Angel Burns of Augusta, Ga., and Tonya Burns and Lana M. Hoy, both of Hagerstown; two brothers, Lamont A. Burns of Hagerstown and Sheldon L. Burns of Baltimore; 19 stepgrandchildren; and stepgreat-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Bethel Gardens Community Center, Hagerstown. The Rev. Joe Fowlkes will officiate.
Arrangements are by Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, Hagerstown.
