She had worked in Chicago and Maryland before accepting a transfer to Sydney, Australia as vice-president of marketing for the Asia Pacific and Latin America region for Eyretel. In Sydney she volunteered for Rugby World Cup 2003, now running.
Miss Peters died November 4, 2003 in an accident in Sydney.
Survivors include her parents, Jim and Ann Peters, and Evelyn and Mark Ruth; sisters, Audra (David) Busey, Alison Peters; brothers, Oliver and Simon; grandparents, Bill Kesler, John and Joe Peters, and Marion and Ken Colman; and partner, Chris Tovey.
