Sue, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday February 13, 2015. Sue was a graduate of Deerfield High School, class of 1964 and a Registered Nurse serving Lake County Health Dept as an addictions treatment counselor for more than 30 years. Sue spent her entire life devoted to helping others. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas Wilson of 41 years. Loving mother to Rick Wilson of Libertyville, Connie Palmer (Don) of Grayslake, and Todd Wilson (Colette) of Gurnee. Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Palmer and Kelsey Holst. Brother, John Fredricks of Riverwoods. And many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Orval and Mabel (nee Dewyer) Fredricks of Riverwoods.
Sue was an avid book reader who could read as many as 2-3 per week and enjoyed crafts, gardening, antiquing and spending time with close friends. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed making gifts for her friends and family.
The family will receive friends on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Marsh Funeral Home of Gurnee, 305 N. Cemetery Road, Gurnee IL, from 5 to 8 pm. Private graveside services at Ascension Cemetery.
