He lived at home until the age of 15 and then lived at the State Home of West Virginia from 1962 to 1965. Beginning in 1966, he lived at the Norfolk Regional Center in Norfolk, Plantation Manor Nursing Home in Elgin and Shady Rest Lodge in Wakefield. He then moved to Mosaic in 1976.
He was a member of Gage County JC's. He enjoyed cowboys, rodeos, horses, basketball, bowling and trucking.
Survivors include three brothers, Bobby Agee of Fremont, Hubert Agee of Council Bluffs, IA and Roger Agee of Omaha; two sisters, Dwanna Maddy of Council Bluffs, IA and Charlotte Agee of Corning, IA; special nephew, Roy Richardson of Council Bluffs, IA; other nieces and nephews and 19 great-nieces and great-nephews; friend, Ron Oates of Virginia; guardian, Jerry Kerl of Lecanto, FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Agee and Thelma Farley Agee Miller; stepfather, Frank Miller; one brother, Edward Agee; four sisters, Macie Richardson, Helen Hansen, Shirley Evans and Rosalie Agee.
Memorial services will be held at 1:30 P.M. on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Mosaic Chapel with Chaplain John Sipf officiating.
Burial of the cremains will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery of Beatrice. There will be no visitation. A guestbook for signatures and messages of condolence is available online at www.foxfuneralhome.net. Fox Funeral Home of Beatrice in charge of arrangements.
