"On 3rd June 1961, the Blériot Trophy-winning crew of Major Elmer E Murphy, Major Eugene F Moses and 1st Lt David F Dickerson departed Le Bourget Airport aboard B-58 Hustler 59-2451 'Firefly' for the return trip from Paris to America. The A/C crashed five miles from the airport. All three men were killed and the aircraft totally destroyed."
