Wilma J. (Uther) Wade, 80, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away, Sunday, February 15, 2015 in the Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky, Ohio.
She was born November 12, 1934 in Berlin Township, Ohio to the late Rolland H. and Marie A. (Leidheiser) Uther and was a lifelong area resident.
Wilma was a 1952 graduate of Milan High School, and was a member of the Ken Bur Bell Post #41 American Legion Auxiliary, and Eagle Aerie #711 Auxiliary. She retired in 1997 from Norwalk Furniture where she was employed for 30 years.
She enjoyed bowling, needlework, jigsaw puzzles, and the Huron County Senior Center.
Wilma is survived by her children, Floyd Lee Wade (Lloyd Nadeau) of Norwalk, Ohio, Terri Hudson of Norwalk, Ohio, Rachelle (Bill) Heidl of Norwalk, Ohio, and John R. (Shari) Wade of Norwalk, Ohio, by 8 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, George P. Uther of Milan, Ohio, Harold R. Uther of Norwalk, Ohio, Paul A. Uther of Fort Myers, Florida, Wayne Uther of Milan, Ohio, Helen M. Hainline of Apache Junction, Arizona, Betty L. Halston of Niceville, Florida, and Nola M. Uther of Sandusky, Ohio.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Wade in 2004, and by her great grandson.
Friends may call on Tuesday, February 17, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until the time of memorial services at 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio.
