Melissa Marie Edwards, 33 of Medford, Ore. passed away Friday, January 23, 2015 at Mercy Hospital in Redding, Calif.
Melissa was born November 24, 1981 in San Bernadino, Calif. to Michelle and Jeffery Moss (deceased). She lived in Michigan, Texas, Illinois, and Oregon.
In 2006 she married James Eric Edwards.
Melissa brought love to family and friends throughout her life. In spite of tremendous health challenges, she was a positive lady and lived her life to the fullest extent possible. She loved sports, music, and played piano. Her family was the focus of her life.
She is survived by her husband, James, and their twins, Gage and Alana, of Medford. She loved James's sons, J R, Dustin, and Bryson as if they were her own, also of Medford. She is also survived by her parents, Bern and Michelle Case, of Medford; brother, Tyler Moss, of Michigan; and her combined family of brothers, Brent Case of Arizona, Judd Case of Indiana, Rex Case of White City, Ore., and her half-sister Sarah Maier of Ohio, plus numerous extended family members.
Services will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 12:00 noon at the Eagle Point Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 110 Linn Road, Eagle Point, OR. A committal service will be held at the Eagle Point National Cemetery at approximately 1pm. In lieu of flowers, per Melissa's desire, donations for a Disneyland trip for the kids are being accepted by her mother, Michelle.
