Private Levi Driggest was a 27-year-old laborer when he enlisted in the 4th Delaware Volunteer Infantry with Capt. Harper in Company E.
He served as a company cook until June 1864 when he was sent to Mower U.S. Army General Hospital and finally discharged under Special Orders 77
with chronic diarrhea.
