The patrol reported two people died in a head-on collision Saturday on U.S. 90 about one mile west of Pass Christian.
Gloria Jean Acker, 40, of Bay St. Louis was driving a car that collided with an 18-wheel truck driven by Johnny L. Love, 38, of Montgomery, Ala.
Ms. Acker, and her brother, 38-year-old Alexander T. Acker, Jr. of New Orleans were killed in the 5:15 a.m. accident. The truck driver was uninjured, the highway patrol said.
