Ms. Pinion was born October 2, 1917, and was the daughter of Henry and Bertha Sellers Davis. She was a registered nurse, and was retired from South Sunflower County Hospital. After her retirement, she worked as a private nurse for In Home Care. Ms. Pinion was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Offie Ealon Pinion; and sister, Opal Blakemore.
Ms. Pinion is survived by two sons, Billy Pinion and his wife Ann of Indianola and Ray Pinion and his wife Margaret of Inwood, GA; two brothers, Paul Davis and Henry Davis, both of Grenada; two sisters Melba Dees and Helen Tingle, both of Grenada; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren.
