William "Bill" Howard

Mr. William “Bill” Howard, age 91, of North Wilkesboro, died Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center. He was born April 25, 1923 in Wilkes County to Wade Jarvis Howard, Sr. and Mary Lewis Howard. Mr. Howard was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church on Highway 115 and a World War II Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bettie Tuttle Howard; and a brother, Wade Jarvis Howard, Jr.
Surviving are his daughter, Peggie Howard of North Wilkesboro; several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 o’clock Friday, February 20, 2015 at Mt. Pisgah on Highway 115 with Rev. Don Myers officiating. The family will receive friends at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church from 1:30 until 2:00 o’clock on Friday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 11635 Statesville Road, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made to www.millerfuneralservice.com
