Don Fazzi, 78, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home after a lengthy and courageous fight with mesothelioma. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he touched and will forever remain with us in our fondest memories and hearts.

Don was born in Silt on Nov. 15, 1935, and grew up and remained in the community his entire life. In 1961, he married the love his life, Mary Ann Snider. He worked at numerous occupations but especially loved the ranching and farming, especially irrigating and raising hay.

He was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors and passed that trait onto his sons and grandkids. Don is survived by his wife; Mary Ann, sons; Robert, Ray (Shawna), Roger (Ellie); daughter-in-law, Sheryl; two grandsons, Shane and Michael; four granddaughters; Paula, Kathy, Kayla and Tori; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Freddie; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. He is predeceased by his parents, and brothers, Joe and Richard. Per Don's request there will be no service, but a celebration of life will be held at a later date for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Valley View Oncology in Glenwood Springs or to a charity of your choice.
